The Royal Trek is one of the shortest treks and is recommended for both beginners and expert trekkers who are limited by time and unable to trek further. It follows a trail lined with bushes around the foothills of Annapurna, Machapuchre, Langtang, and Machapuchre, as well as hillside rice terraces. The trip begins in the city of beautiful lakes (Pokhara), goes through picturesque Gurung villages, and concludes in Chitwan National Park's wilderness. This trek provides opportunities for significant cultural encounters with the various communities and cultures that occupy this region's breathtaking terrain.
The package is named after Prince Charles, who traveled through the region. The trek is short and easy, and it gives you great views of the mountains around you, ridge walking, forests, rice fields, and a variety of communities. The last part of the itinerary says that Royal Chitwan National Park is home to 56 types of mammals, such as the one-horned rhinoceros, leopard, Bengal tiger, sloth bear, wild elephant, striped hyena, Gangetic dolphin, and wild bison.
Apart from a large number of avian species, the park contains an estimated number of fish, butterflies, reptiles, and other animals. According to recent study, nearly one-third of Nepal's entire population resides in Chitwan. For further details, please visit Nepal Jungle Safari.
This itinerary can be separated into two distinct parts: a 2-night 3-day jungle safari in Nepal, and a 5-day hiking expedition in Nepal. We can tailor the itinerary to your preferences. The Royal Trek offers a glimpse into short trekking in Nepal, while the Chitwan Jungle Safari provides an opportunity to experience Nepal's wildlife in style.
Itinerary
Early morning, we start our journey with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by car or van or bus. The choice of vehicle depends upon you. It will take about 4 to 5-hour drive to reach there. You can view the pleasuring greenery, mountains, and villages on the right side of the road. Reaching Pokhara will offer other magnificent views of mountains like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), five peaks of Annapurna range, and many more. After checking in and refreshing up, sauntering around the lakeside valley, enjoying activities like fishing, boating and swimming in the lakes (Taal in Nepali) and roaming around the city in the evening will be enjoyable and pleasant. Stay overnight in a hotel in Pokhara.
